‘Canadian Pride Is A Hate Crime?’

The ‘activists’ quoted in this story are the same people practicing divisive ‘identity politics’, and pushing for the expansion of differential ‘rights’ in Canada. They are a scourge on our country. In addition, ‘People of Colour’ racists, and Leftists, label ANY proud Canadians as ‘white supremacists’. It seems they would prefer the lack of freedom of speech that exists in 3rd World and Communist countries. And, of course, it’s the CBC once again violating its mandate by promoting an anti-Canadian agenda — turning the whole story over to an ‘Idle No More’ founder, a Mohammedan anti-Canadian, and a hateful ‘Anti-hate’ activist {Irony abounds}…

“A group that believes Canada’s diversity to be its “greatest weakness” is recruiting in Saskatoon. Posters for the group known as ‘ID Canada’ have surfaced at various locations across the city and local ‘anti-racism experts’ {anti-‘white’ activists} say the group’s beliefs are rooted in ‘white supremacy’.

{Here’s some of ‘ID Canada’s so-called ‘white supremacy’. From Remembrance Day:
“Today we remember the brave Canadians who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. While the situation may seem bleak, we must keep their memory alive and restore Canada to the great nation it once was. This isn’t the Canada they died for.”
https://twitter.com/ID__Canada/status/1193890130693697537
And:
“During remembrance day ceremonies, ID Canada members in Alberta pooled their money together to make a cash donation to the Royal Canadian Legion. The legion relies heavily on donations to operate and we encourage everyone to donate what they can at least once a year.”
https://twitter.com/ID__Canada/status/1195749516340629504 }

“Some of the posters — many of which have been damaged {Again, because ‘freedom of speech shouldn’t be tolerated’} — are white, red and black in colour and don the words “Defend Canada{How horrible!} above another line of text that reads: “Join the Fight“.

“The group’s website boasts nine chapters across Canada and {accurately} says:

We refuse to re-write history and pretend like this nation existed before European colonization. Canada is not a ‘Nation of immigrants.’ The Dominion of Canada was formed by Europeans.

“‘CBC Saskatoon’ sent several emails to ‘ID Canada’ seeking comment and also reached out to the group several times on Twitter. No response was received.

The symbols that they use, the language that they use and the ideology that they’re drawing from are all really obviously speaking to ‘white supremacy’,”

said Sheelah McLean, who refers to herself as a “white settler” and is a ‘well-known’ {‘notorious’} academic whose work focuses on ‘settler colonialism’ and ‘racism’.

{Here she is:
‘Aboriginal Academics within Idle No More’s Inner Circle’:
Sheelah McLean, co-founder of ‘Idle No More’, is as white as freshly fallen snow.
Sheelah received a B Ed from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991. In 2007, she picked up an MA in “Anti-Racist/Anti-Oppression” from the U of S’s ‘Indian and Northern Education Program’. She currently teaches “social and ecological ‘justice’” at the U of S and a class in “GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP” at a Saskatoon high school. She is working on a PhD in Global Education. (‘Education Beyond Borders’ website and McLean’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/sheelah.mclean)

“ALL 12 productions and presentations credited to McLean on the U of S’s Native Research data base RELATE TO NATIVE ACTIVISM, notably “Teaching Treaties in the Classroom“. Prior to ‘INM’, McLean campaigned to force a Saskatoon high school sports team to drop their Indian head logo and their “Redmen” name — things she considered to be “human rights violations”. A student referendum overwhelmingly supported keeping the name and logo.”

“McLean says it appears the group is trying to push an agenda of ‘erasure’ — one that focuses on Western settlers building Canada as a nation and ignoring the country’s history of {aboriginal} slavery, ‘colonial’ {aboriginal} genocide and of the {tiny number of} ‘immigrants of colour’ {her racist designation} who helped form Canada {Where and when?}.

“They’re erasing particular parts of our history {Talk about ‘The pot calling the kettle ‘black’} and upholding the idea that it was only Western European settlers, or ‘white’ settlers, that built Canada and we know that’s not the case {???}. That’s inaccurate”,
she said.
{And this is a so-called ‘academic’ at a Canadian university…}

“McLean said the fact the posters are present in Saskatoon is “very disconcerting” as the group is working against others who are trying to dispel ‘misconceptions and inaccuracies’ about Canada’s past.

Racism, racial violence, anti-‘Indigenous’ {sic, aboriginals are NOT ‘Indigenous’ to Canada…and this is a so-called ‘academic’} racism, anti-‘black’ racism and {fictitious} ‘Islamophobia’ are prevalent across Canada and it’s something many people have been working to address for a very long time“,
she said.

“McLean said she feels groups like ‘ID Canada’ are a “backlash” that happens when powerful groups are challenged about the political and social power they hold in the form of access to resources like housing, healthcare and employment.

Across the prairies, in particular because of our history of segregation and racial inequality, overwhelmingly ‘white’ settlers have had the most social and political power“,
{No, because European immigrants were the overwhelming majority of the population – you know, like how the Japanese have power in Japan, and Africans in Zimbabwe!}
she said.
So it’s not necessarily surprising that these posters would end up across the prairies.

“Adding later:
What they’re doing is trying to uphold hundreds of years of racial violence and racial segregation.

And, of course, there’s the token Mohammedan anti-Canadian:
“Ali Abukar is chief executive officer of the ‘Saskatoon Open Door Society’, which helps new Canadians get settled in Saskatoon. He said the fact the group is present in the city is concerning…

This is not the first time these kinds of things have popped up“,
said Abukar.
{Gee, we wonder why?}

“However, despite the group’s presence, he believes in the strength of Saskatoon as a community that has welcomed — and will continue to welcome — newcomers, pointing to Saskatchewan’s {European} motto of “Multis e gentibus vires“, which translates to: “From many peoples, strength“.

That says a lot about different people coming together is where the strengths is“,
he said, noting organizations like ‘ID Canada’ don’t belong.
{The irony of a 3rd World immigrant telling Canadians that they don’t belong in Canada…}

These kinds of ideas have no place in this ‘modern’ {‘Globalist’} time of the world“,
he said.
Not only in Canada or Saskatoon, but at all.
{And in the 3rd World, “These kinds of ideas” would be eliminated by violence, right?}

“Abukar said while these types of groups make Saskatoon a less-welcoming place, he’s confident most people don’t share their views…

“The Saskatoon Police Service said they have not received any complaints about the group in the city, noting CBC’s inquiry about the posters was the first time they’ve heard of the group.
{Of course. This is the CBC’s ‘bread and butter’!}

“Saskatchewan RCMP also said they’ve received no complaints about the group.

“However, ‘ID Canada’ is on the radar of the {communist and anti-‘white’} ‘Canadian Anti-Hate Network’, which says the group is primarily active in Ontario and Alberta…

“‘Canadian Anti-Hate Network’ executive director Evan Balgord said the group is an alt-right, ‘neo-Nazi’ {His favourite label} group with 50 to 100 formal members in Canada. He estimates there could be anywhere from one to a dozen members in Saskatoon.

Their goal is recruitment and they’re not taking just anybody“,
said Balgord.
There’s a vetting process and their strategy is a quality-over-quantity style of recruiting.

“Balgord said the aim of the group, like other ‘neo-Nazi’ organizations, is to create a white ethno-state in Canada {Nonsense. Any proof?} and the United States by “any means necessary“. He said ‘ID Canada’ aims to achieve this by influencing people through “cultural wins” instead of violence.
{Gee, that sounds scary!}

They aim to influence conversations“,
{Kind of like your organization?}
he said.
Make it more acceptable to have conversations which can verge into specifically racist, xenophobic or discrimination, so that they can achieve some measure of political success.
{You just did a self-description!}

“Balgord said that while the group has not found much political success at this time, they’re trying to secure power.

Their ultimate game plan is they do cultural change, which leads to political change, which would allow them to enact the changes that they want, which would be the creation and enforcement of discriminatory policies.

“Balgord noted these policies would then be used to deport and commit ‘genocide’ against individuals who are not welcome in its ethno-state.
{What a slanderous fantasy…and the CBC just prints it without comment. Shameful…}

“McLean said she feels the group “absolutely is a danger” as it contributes to the violence and racism that some experience every day.

There is already so much violence towards ‘Indigenous’ {sic} people and ‘people of colour’ {sic, black is not a colour. More ‘academic’ ignorance…} that we need to be aware that what this does is further normalizes it“,
she said.

“Balgord agrees, saying there’s at least one instance he’s aware of where an ‘ID Canada’ member joined what he said was a terrorist group.
{Details? Of course not. This entire article is a typical CBC editorial masquerading as a news story…}

The group is a danger because they create more of an environment around Canada where people ‘feel threatened’,”
he said.
But also an environment where people of ‘their ilk’ feel more confident expressing beliefs that hurt those ‘marginalized’ {Everybody except ‘whites’…} communities.

“ID Canada was created as a response to Canada’s decaying identity, increased third-world immigration and the prevalence of anti-European sentiments in this country.

“We refuse to re-write history and pretend like this nation existed before European colonization. Canada is not a “Nation of immigrants”. The Dominion of Canada was formed by Europeans.

“Canada is a country of explorers, settlers, and nation builders. We refuse to disrespect our ancestors and those who sacrificed everything to build this beautiful country, only to protect the decaying ideals of political correctness and “diversity”. Canada is a nation of European values, traditions, customs and culture. Canada was never meant to be a melting pot of third-world migration. Diversity is, in fact, our greatest weakness.

“The current path that we are on is a society void of any identity or uniqueness.

“We want to change that.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^
“By forming a group of young people desiring to reinvigorate the respect and love of our nation and our people, we hope to bring into the public debate the role of ethnic Canadians in this country’s present and future. We do not believe this topic should be beyond discussion as it concerns every citizen in this nation.

“Our campaigns and energy aspire to nothing less than a rediscovery and renewed love for our nation and its founding people.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^
“ID Canada is not a political party. ID Canada has no official political positions, nor does it have a political platform. We’re simply an organization of concerned youth aged 18-35, from various political camps, who see the nation we once knew & loved being destroyed. We can see the demographic replacement of Old Stock Canadians happening before our eyes. We’re one of the last generations of men and women who can change the tides, and that’s exactly what we intend on doing.”
